The Western Wildland Environment Threat Assessment Center (WWETAC) develops and communicates scientific understanding of environmental threats to western US land managers and resource specialists. WWETAC reviews, synthesizes, and annotates bibliographies, provides GIS searches and products online, and develops risk assessments for wildfire risk, bark beetle outbreaks, and forest response to climate change.
