Description: American Electric Power Co (AEP) needs to rebuild its existing Stinnett-Pineville power line by installing new infrastructure, increasing the right-of-way from 100' to 120', and obtaining a Special Use Permit. Five out of 28 miles of line is on DBNF.
Location: UNIT - Redbird Ranger District. STATE - Kentucky. COUNTY - Leslie. LEGAL - Not Applicable. The entire 28-mile power line rebuild goes from the Pineville Substation near Pineville, KY, to the Stinnet Substation near Stinnet, KY. Only 5 miles of the line is on NFS lands in Leslie County.
