This report summarizes the most recent inventory of Wyoming’s forests based on field data collected between 2011 and 2015. The report includes descriptive highlights and tables of area, numbers of trees, biomass, carbon, volume, growth, mortality, and removals. Most sections and tables are organized by forest type or forest-type group, species group, diameter class, or owner group.

Comprehensive inventory of Utah's forest resources, 1993

This report presents the results of an inventory of Utah's forest lands, completed in 1995. It is the first of its kind for the Interior West States in that it includes all forested lands, regardless of ownership or administrative status. It also includes information on a multitude of forest ecosystem attributes.

Arizona's Forest Resources, 1999

New Mexico’s forest resources, 2008-2014

This report presents a summary of the most recent inventory of New Mexico’s forests based on field data collected between 2008 and 2014. The results presented here summarize a complete cycle of New Mexico’s forest inventory, or 10 years’ worth of data collection, whereas the previous report was based only on 9 years’ worth of data collected under an accelerated implementation schedule between 2008 and 2012.

Forest resources of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest

The 1,215,219 acres in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest encompass 863,906 acres of forest land, made up of 90 percent (776,239 acres) "timberland" and 10 percent (87,667 acres) "woodland." The other 351,313 acres of the Wasatch-Cache are nonforest or water (fig. 1). This report discusses forest land only.

Forest resources of the Uinta National Forest

The 883,225 acres in the Uinta National Forest encompass 552,021 acres of forest land, made up of 68 percent (377,651 acres) "timberland" and 32 percent (174,370 acres) "woodland." The other 331,204 acres of the Uinta are nonforest (fig. 1). This report discusses forest land only. In the Uinta, 7 percent of the total area and 4 percent of the forest land is in reserved status such as Wilderness or Research Natural Areas.

This report presents highlights of the Santa Fe National Forest 1998 inventory including population estimates and summaries of commonly requested variables.
