Forest Service Research - Protecting a Rich Legacy is a video that tells the grand story of America’s long history of forest research and management. From the beginnings of the U.S. Forest Service with Teddy Roosevelt and Gifford Pinchot to the highly skilled forest scientists around the country, America’s forests are a legacy worth protecting.

The video was produced and directed by Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute Program Director Susan Fox and Dru Carr with High Plains Films for the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and featured at the XXIV IUFRO World Congress held in Salt Lake City, UT, October 5-11, 2014.
