The US Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA-Fisheries, Bureau of Land Management, and US Forest Service have worked together to develop an interagency web-page for information on the Endangered Species Act and Streamlined Consultation Process within the Pacific Northwest. This site contains a wealth of information, important references, and links. It will be updated periodically, so please check back from time to time.

    Spatial Data Re-Release

  • Revised metadata for dataset BGBRDDN (Predicted Road Density, Cultural Group theme ID 659)
    New Spatial Data Release

  • AMPH_PNW1 Species Ranges - Amphibians (PNW v1.0)
  • BIRD1_PNW1 Species Ranges - Birds A-J (PNW v1.0)
  • BIRD2_PNW1 Species Ranges - Birds K-Z (PNW v1.0)
  • INVER_PNW1 Species Ranges - Invertebrates (PNW v1.0)
  • MAMM_PNW1 Species Ranges - Mammals (PNW v1.0)
  • REPT_PNW1 Species Ranges - Reptiles (PNW v1.0)

Most of the species range datasets were originally created and released by ICBEMP. Some datasets have since been added and some original ICBEMP data updated by U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station (PNW). These downloadable files are packaged and being released here through the PNW Station and contain both the updated and still valid non-updated datasets. These files are intended as a complete replacement for the ICBEMP FEIS version of the data. They will not match what is published in the ICBEMP Assessment and FEIS. If you need to match data published in the Assessment the FEIS version should be used instead.

    Web Site updates

Minor updates have been made to the web site in various locations.
Reference Manager Database of Published Manuscripts

This database of the 117 peer-reviewed published publications has been developed to provide not only a list of all publications, but also an easily searchable format for user's to find pertinent information of their particular interest. The database was developed using ProCite 5.01 and contains the abstract of all articles as well as keywords. In addition to the downloadable ProCite database, there is a tab delimited text file for users of other software. A list of ICBEMP references including key words and abstract from the reference manager database is available electronically on-line. This list is sorted alphabetically by author and includes a unique reference id number. Three additional summaries are included to list the manuscripts ( by the unique id number) by author, by keyword and by subject area.

  • Click here to download the Procite reference database (version 5.0)
  • Click here to download tab delimited reference database file for import to other programs

All metadata is now compliant with the Federal Geographic Data Committe (FGDC) geospatial data standards. Over the last two months all metadata has been reviewed, updated and migrated to FGDC metadata format. All metadata has been replaced in the July release of data. Many errors and missing items have also been corrected in the metadata.

Please make sure you review and use the revised metadata when using ICBEMP Data.

Spatial Data Release: There are now 3 different methods for accessing released data from the Spatial Data Page. Each method is available under the Data & Products pull down menu on the Spatial Data page

GIS Data - This option goes to a page containing paragraph descriptions and links to each of the Theme Group pages.

Available Data List by Theme Groups - This option goes to a navigation page which lists data alphabetically by Theme Group and Theme Name, allowing access by linking directly to any single theme, or to any Theme Group page. This navigation page also indicates whether medadata is in FGDC format and data type (vector, raster, database, attribute, etc...).

Available Data List by Export Name - This option goes to a navigation page which lists themes alphabetically by export name, allowing access by linking directly to any single theme.

    Theme Groups:

Databases - This theme group has been removed. All datasets from this theme group have been relocated into other theme groups. The Databases Theme Group page provides links to the new locations.
Terrestrial - This theme group has been removed. All datasets from this theme group have been relocated into other theme groups. The Terrestrial Theme Group page provides links to the new locations.
Subsample - This theme group has been added.
