U.S. Forest Service Contracting

The U.S. Forest Service Incident Support Branch for Acquisition Management located at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho is a detached Washington Office Unit. This unit is responsible for contracting the "National Shared Resources" utilized for wildland fire suppression and prevention, as well as other emergency incident response activities.

The Contracting Officer assigned to a Contract Program is always your primary point of contact regarding that Contract Program. Inquiries and all correspondence concerning any open solicitations should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Offerors should contact only the Contracting Officer issuing the solicitation about any aspect of the solicitation requirements prior to contract award. Airtanker Contracts

The intent of this contract is to provide the government with large fixed-wing airtanker services to include the dropping of approved fire suppressant or retardant material on forest and range fires over all types of terrain throughout the United States, including Alaska.  Visit Forest Service Fire and Aviation for more information about airtankers.

Wildland Fire Chemicals

These contracts provide for the normal supply requirement of various wildland fire chemicals by the U.S. Forest Service and Agencies of the U.S. Department of the Interior and may be used by other agencies with formal agreements with the above Departments.  Visit Interagency Wildland Fire Chemicals Policy and Guidance website for more information.

The paying unit for all national contracts administered by the U.S. Forest Service Incident Support Branch for Acquisition Management is the U.S Forest Service Albuquerque Service Center (ASC).  All invoices must be sent to the following address for payment processing.
