Today marks the anniversary of Chief Christiansen’s swearing in as the 19th Chief of the USDA Forest Service. It’s been an amazing year. We’ve seen so much progress in our work, and we're always improving how we treat each other and show up in communities, as demonstrated by our adoption of the values and behaviors outlined in This is Who We Are, plus much more.

It has been a pleasure to  work with and serve with you, Chief. Thank you for your inspiring leadership and service to our agency, our forests, citizens and our employees. Congratulations on the first year of many.
