Grand Canyon Trust blog highlights work of Kaibab archaeologist

Grand Canyon Trust’s blog recently featured a piece highlighting the cultural preservation and partnership efforts of Kaibab National Forest archaeologist Connie Reid, who has served for more than 20 years on the North Kaibab Ranger District.

“The words culture, conservation and commitment all begin with the letter ‘c.’ And so does the name of Connie Reid,” the blog states. “The trust has been working with her for the last decade to survey and protect archaeological sites…and to engage tribal elders and young people on cultural resource projects.”
