Deschutes National Forest employee receives national recognition

During the 41st annual National Wild Turkey Foundation Convention and Sport Show in Nashville, Tennessee, Monty Gregg from Deschutes National Forest’s Sisters Ranger District received an Individual Partnership Achievement Award.

This award recognized his ongoing excellent work in building networks and encouraging collaboration between multiple entities across the region and nationally. With more than 900 acres of habitat enhanced by his efforts, Gregg is often consulted as the regional expert at maximizing the benefits of stewardship to accomplish habitat restoration. With his enthusiasm and team-building abilities the forest, and region, look forward to seeing what his next slate of projects will accomplish.
