Budget & Finance: System user access reminders

WASHINGTON, DC—Effective Friday March 1, the Financial Management Systems Security Team will more closely monitor user access to CFO applications.

What this effects

Your access will be deactivated after 60 days if you have not used any of the following systems:

  • Financial Modernization Management Initiative
  • Incident Business Systems
  • Point of Sale System
  • Forest Products Financial Systems

What You Need to Do

  • To maintain your access without interruption, log on to each assigned application every 60 days
  • Set reminders to ensure your access doesn’t lapse.  For those of you who use FMMI, please follow the directions in our Maintaining Your FMMI Access and Setting Reminders in MS Outlook
  • If you allow your access to lapse, your account will be deactivated on the 61st day of inactivity without warning
  • If your account needs to be reinstated, please follow these steps:
    • Complete a new Financial Security Request Form, FS-65000-214, which is available at the ASC B&F Tech Support and Security page
    • You may have to wait for different turnaround times for processing by the Security Team, depending on the application
