WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, the Office of Personnel Management began emailing the 2019 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey to randomly selected USDA employees.
Here in the USDA Forest Service we take FEVS feedback seriously every year, using the results to enact positive changes based on your input. Past surveys have helped us identify the levels of satisfaction among Forest Service employees on numerous fronts – including satisfaction with their supervisors, the match between their skills and the agency mission, teamwork and innovation.
Your feedback matters. FEVS is an essential component in the agency demonstrating its values, code and commitments of a respectful workplace where all employees feel valued, respected and can thrive in delivering the agency’s mission. Ultimately, the information you provide makes us stronger and better equipped to face current challenges as well as future concerns. The input you share now will help us to strategically strengthen our agency as we continue our dialogue about the next 100 years of stewardship and service to our communities.
While participation in FEVS is completely voluntary, all employees who receive the 2019 FEVS are encouraged to complete it fully. The entire process takes approximately 30 minutes and should be completed while on work hours.
