Forest Vegetation Simulator (FVS) Carbon Reports
More and more natural resource managers are interested in the effects of planned management activities on forest carbon stocks. The FVS carbon reports were created in response to this need. These reports are part of the Fire and Fuels Extension to FVS and estimate the amount of carbon stored in various forest stand components, such as standing live and dead trees and surface fuels, over time. For experienced FVS users, they are easily accessed with the FFE keywords CarbRept, CarbCut, and CarbCalc or the Select Outputs > FFE Carbon Reports > Select Carbon Reports window.
