Technical Information for Planning (TIPs)The 2012 Planning Rule governs Land Management Planning for the National Forest System. Further direction for conducting planning activities is found in the proposed planning directives, currently under review. This site will contain additional resources that Forests may use to help them revise their land management plans. It will contain technical guides, examples and lessons learned from recent plan revision experiences.
