Grey Towers Advanced Leadership Development Training Program

Grey Towers National Historic Site

SPONSOR: Grey Towers National Historic Site
LENGTH OF PROGRAM: Three days
AUDIENCE: District Ranger and Deputy Rangers, Staff Officers, Program Managers, Job Corps Center Directors and Deputy Center Directors, Actings are welcome.
REQUISITE: N/A
TUITION: Tuition is required. Payment and obligation documents will be prepared and submitted to ASC from Grey Towers. Travel, per diem, and salary paid by sending unit.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program is both thought provoking and practical in nature. Participants will learn a series of skills and then be given an appropriate amount of coaching to practice using them. There will be time for self-reflection work as well as time to enjoy the Grey Towers site. This program is a highly interactive and exciting leadership development opportunity. The program will focus on the following objectives:
- Enhance leaders problem solving and team decision making skills
- Increase leaders understanding of the appropriate use of power and control in different leadership roles
- Gain awareness on how to better manage and lead others during times of change and resultant chaos
- Help leaders embrace the concept of continued development and self-reflection
ALTERNATES: Group size is limited to 21. Alternates will be listed as to their response date. Alternates will be contacted as openings become available.
