Threats
- Trampling by hikers, campers, picnickers, individuals rappelling down sandstone cliffs, and collectors digging illegally for Native American artifacts
- Timber removal in or adjacent to Cumberland sandwort sites, resulting in increased sunlight on the plants subsequent alteration of moisture conditions
