Critically Imperiled Plant Profile
(Not Listed or Proposed under the Endangered Species Act)

Ewan’s cinquefoil is one of many varieties of the widespread species Potentilla glandulosa. Its flowers that do not open fully and its narrow geographic range in the San Gabriel Mountains of southern California distinguish this variety. Photo by Tommy Stoughton.

This cinquefoil grows in wet places such as seep margins, within pine and fir forest. Photo by Michael Charters.
