Nemacladus is an unobtrusive genus of annuals in the bellflower family (Campanulaceae); this species is distinguished from other Nemacladus species by its short stems, cushion-like growth habit, and dense flower clusters. Photo by Fletcher Linton.

Threats
- There are no current threats, as the species is present in remote and Wilderness areas. The two known populations total about 400 plants, covering less than 10 total acres.
