Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer work opportunities on Forest Service system lands are almost as diverse as the lands and resources we manage in the western states. Year-round opportunities are available on the Ogden Ranger District. Volunteer work is varied, challenging, and rewarding. It may include wildlife surveys, develop and maintenance of recreational trails and campgrounds, visitor information, clerical, photography and more. The Adopt-a-Trail, Campground, and Stream programs are also available.

Boy Scout Eagle projects can be proposed to the district staff.  The project must be proposed, rather than calling the office and asking for a project.  All funding, planning, materials, and permissions if necessary must be done by the scout.  We would prefer to work directly with the scout rather than the mother of the scout.
