TILDA SPRING ATV TRAIL


Access: Forest Road 196 one mile north of Highway 39 on Curtis Creek Road

Elevation: Beginning: 8,200 feet Ending: 7,200 feet

Length: 8.5 miles of trail

Use: Light- ATV, Mountain Bike, Hiking

Difficulty: Moderate

Season: Late spring to fall

Directions: The access to Tilda Spring ATV trail is via the Curtis Creek Road north of Highway 39. Travel 1.9 miles, turn left and follow the road to National Forest boundary (about 1/2 mile). The trail doesn't start for about another 3.5 miles, but unload and start to enjoy the sights and sounds around you.

There are about 8.5 miles of various one-way trails for your riding pleasure. There is very little use, but also very little maintenance on the trails. So be prepared for various conditions.

The area is hard to find, but users enjoy the trip once they get there.
