Kamas Ranger DistrictCampgroundsMirror Lake CampgroundMirror Lake Campground was opened after reconstruction in 1999. The redesign included new restrooms, changes in site locations, as well as new camping facilities. A loop for equestrian campers was added. A picnic and angler area was added for day users. This campground is the most popular site along the Mirror Lake Highway. Reservations are always encouraged. During the summer, evening programs on Friday and Saturday nights are presented in the amphitheater. The sites circled in the matrix are available for reservation via Reserveusa.com. The entire equestrian loop is on a reservation basis. The campground fills up on weekends all summer long. Due to the elevation of Mirror Lake, snow usually does not melt enough to open the campground until the third week of July.
