Prior to joining TEAMS, Nancy was lead utility forester for Sequatchie Valley Electric Cooperative in South Pittsburg, TN from 1998 to 2001. Nancy has performed data entry and summaries of best management practices evaluation program (BMPEP) field surveys, generated reports using an Oracle based BMPEP program, and has written summaries for forest and regional level reporting requirements.
Nancy performed and supervised the Northern Spotted Owl call stations, performed stream surveys using the Rosgen and Phankuch survey methodology, and performed a first year intensive acoustic broadcast Goshawk survey. Her work has taken her to the Tahoe, Sequoia, Gila, San Bernardino, Cleveland, Angeles, Los Padres, Eldorado, Plumas, Black Hills, Klamath, and Desoto National Forests. Nancy continues to educate herself and most recently completed coursework in sustainable operations, green infrastructure and applied fluvial geomorphology, and wildland hydrology.
Additionally, Nancy has taught basic computer skills for fellow employees. She is proficient at Microsoft Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and other components of Microsoft.
Nancy has worked with TEAMS since 2001.
