Lynda’s graduate work investigated factors affecting the success of biological control programs on non-native plants in estuarine environments. Prior to coming to the Forest Service she worked as a researcher at Portland State University conducting aquatic plant surveys in lentic and lotic systems across Oregon, Idaho, and Wyoming. She traveled to Guam and Saipan as part of a research team that developed the fresh water plant portion of the Micronesian Biosecurity plan in response to U. S. military buildup on Guam.
