Experience
Don began his career with the Forest Service in 1994. He was a wildlife technician in Chemult, OR, for the Pacific Northwest Research Station. Don then worked on the Deschutes National Forest for both the Sisters and Bend/Fort Rock Ranger Districts. He acquired experience in all facets of the timber program, the tree genetics program, in silviculture performing stand examinations, and contract inspection as well as small sales. Don has performed as a level 2 law enforcement officer with forest compliance issues. He also completed forest inventory and analysis in south central Alaska. Don’s work for TEAMS includes timber sale layout, logging feasibility and stand exams.
Don has worked with TEAMS since 2003.
