Experience
Chris has been with the Forest Service
since 1990, working in recreation, fire, wilderness, wildlife, and
NEPA project management. Chris started his Forest Service career
in recreation and fire on the Coronado National Forest. Prior to
coming to TEAMS, he served as a wilderness planner, wildlife biologist,
prescribed fire manager, and ID team leader. During his tenure with
TEAMS, Chris has worked in six states and five regions coordinating
vegetation management, fire/fuel reduction projects, forest planning,
and has served as a district ranger. Chris has extensive experience
in community collaboration, multi-agency project coordination, and
wildland fire landscape assessments and modeling. Additionally,
he is a principle writer of environmental assessments and environmental
impact statements. His professional focus as a wildlife biologist
involved management of forest dwelling bats and fire adapted bird
species.
Chris has worked with TEAMS since 2002.
