Experience
Cameron has been with
the Forest Service since 1993. Prior to coming to work for TEAMS,
he piloted and implemented the integrated use of the SMS and ecology
using GIS in both Regions 9 and 3. He received the 1996 Eastern
Region Honor Award for outstanding leadership in implementing a
Pilot Scenery Management project that incorporate ecosystem management,
GIS, and direction from the Chief of the Forest Service.
He has participated as
a guest speaker in national scenery management system training sessions
and at the Interagency Environmental Design Symposium: Conserving
Natural and Cultural Resources on Public Lands. Currently, he works
on various scenery resource and recreation resource analysis projects
using SMS/VMS and ROS respectively. He develops categorical exclusion,
environmental assessment, and environmental impact statement specialist
reports for both scenery and recreation resources. His expansive
experience working within the Forest Service has taken him throughout
Regions 1, 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10.
Cameron has been with TEAMS since 2004.
