Prior to joining the Forest Service, Stephanie was an Outdoor Recreation Planner with the Bureau of Reclamation’s Montana Area Office from 2006-2010. In her position, Stephanie worked to strengthen relationships with managing partners and to coordinate recreation related enhancements through development of new partnerships. She was involved with the administration of concession contracts and coordinated planning efforts to determine the appropriate future services for recreation and concession operations on Reclamation reservoirs throughout Montana.
Stephanie began her career with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), from 2000-2006 she was an outdoor recreation planner with the BLM’s Cody Field Office in Wyoming. While working for the BLM, Stephanie gained experience administering special recreation permits, developing travel management and recreation activity plans, and planning public events. In addition to her recreation duties, she served as the Cody Field Office NEPA coordinator and volunteer program coordinator and the Wyoming State cave coordinator. She participated as a team member developing BLM’s National Mountain Bicycling Strategic Action Plan and served as an instructor for Recreation Planning and Volunteer courses through BLM’s National Training Center.
Stephanie has worked for TEAMS since February of 2010.
