Experience
Kim is currently the TEAMS Planning Director. She oversees all planning operations including marketing; as well as supervision of the TEAMS planning middle management, project managers, and natural resource specialists. She is a member of the TEAMS executive leadership team. Prior to coming to TEAMS, she has had over 30 years experience in natural resource management with the National Park Service, U.S. Geological Survey, Forest Service, and various non-governmental agencies. Kim has worked in 4 national parks/monuments, and 4 national forests in Forest Service Regions 6, 4, and 2. She has held positions as museum curator, administrative assistant, district NEPA coordinator, public affairs officer, forest director of recreation and public service, forest director of planning, and district ranger. Kim has worked through numerous changing organizations, with fluctuating budgets; including, large forest disturbances and disaster funding. She has undertaken details as forest supervisor and has acted as the agency administrator on numerous large fires. |
