USFS Mobile Interpreter is a family of applications designed to display interpretive presentations relevant to the geographic location of a viewer.
Given a set of existing audio and/or video presentations, and ESRI® shape files appropriate to a given area, Mobile Interpreter Designer makes it easy to configure a presentation scheme for any complex of interpretive sites anywhere on earth.

Download USFS Mobile Interpreter - Designer Edition (4.3 MB).
When presented with the option, click "Save" to copy the installer program (MIDesignerSetup_Web.exe) to your computer, then navigate to it and double-click on it.
Note to those with previous versions of Mobile Interpreter: You must uninstall your previous version before installing this version. Locales that were downloaded or created with versions 1.31 or 1.40 of Mobile Interpreter will automatically be converted to work with this version. Locales created with version 2.0 will not.

Click on the desired locale, and then click "Save" to copy it to some location on your computer. Navigate to the file on your computer and double-click on it there. Extract it to wherever you store or intend to store your locales.
Once extracted. the locales can be accessed from Mobile Interpreter by selecting "Locale->Manager" from the menu.
These locales are for use with Mobile Interpreter Designer. They may be exported from Mobile Interpreter Designer for use with Mobile Interpreter and Mobile Interpreter for Pocket PC - Standard Editions.
