Additional Landowner Programs

US Department of Agriculture

Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program - addressing specific state and nationally significant water quality, soil erosion, and wildlife habitat issues related to agricultural use.

Conservation Reserve Program - encouraging the establishment of permanent covers on sensitive croplands.

Environmental Quality Incentives Program - overcoming serious threats to natural resources on private lands via technical, financial, and educational assistance to landowners.

Wetlands Reserve Program - voluntarily protecting wetlands on private forest lands.

Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program - protecting and enhancing critical wildlife habitat.

US Fish and Wildlife

Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service offers technical and financial assistance to private landowners to voluntarily restore restore wetlands and other fish and wildlife habitats on their land.
