Description: Collaboratively planned fuels reduction/forest resiliency/habitat improvement project in the Sagehen Basin (Sagehen Experimental Forest and Truckee Ranger District). Activities and methods for vegetation/fuels management and ecological restoration.

Location: UNIT - Truckee Ranger District, Sagehen All Units. STATE - California. COUNTY - Nevada, Sierra. Sagehen Basin: Located west of Hwy 89 and Stampede Reservoir, north of Sagehen Creek to the Sierraville Ranger District boundary, south of the creek to Carpenter Valley and west to Independence Lake.
