Description: Salvage of damaged trees on 250 acres. Incidental removal of undamaged trees (mostly Loblolly). Area damaged by tornado and straightline winds. After removal area would be site prep burned and planted with native shortleaf pine and hardwoods.

Description: Removal of timber from 62 acres of NFS land that was blown down or damaged during a high wind event 11 April 2013.
Location: UNIT - Sylamore Ranger District. STATE - Arkansas. COUNTY - Stone. LEGAL - NFS lands within T16N, R10W Sections 7, 8 and 18. Compartment 89 southeast of the Optimus community approximately 3 miles east of Highway 5 north along Stone County Road 1181.
