Description: At each shot site, a vertical hole drilled 75-150 feet deep is filled with chemical explosives. A single "shot" is fired to induce seismicity at each site. Small seismometers are temporarily deployed to record the ground shaking from the shot.

Description: Proposal to plant whitebark pine seedlings and seeds on up to 1,500 acres of whitebark pine habitat (above 8,600 feet) in up to seven project areas over the next 10 years.
