Description: At each shot site, a vertical hole drilled 75-150 feet deep is filled with chemical explosives. A single "shot" is fired to induce seismicity at each site. Small seismometers are temporarily deployed to record the ground shaking from the shot.

Description: This project would re-issue the special use permits for sixteen existing communication sites.
Location: UNIT - Mountain Home Ranger District. STATE - Idaho. COUNTY - Boise. Communication Sites are located at Lower Deer Point (1), Deer Point (6), Shafer Butte (8), and Doe Point (1) near Bogus Basin Mountain Resort.
