- Southwest Oregon Interagency Biomass Utilization Strategy (BLM & FS)
- Central Oregon Combined Off Highway Vehicle Operations (COHVOPS): Chartered in 1998 to partner resources for efficient, cost-effective OHV management. Approximately 600 miles of motorized trails on the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forest's and the Prineville District BLM are managed. The objective of COHVOPS is to provide consistent, quality off-highway vehicle recreation opportunities that are focused on customer service and resource protection. COHVOPS shares personnel, equipment and materials to operate and maintain the Central Oregon OHV trail systems. This includes monitoring, patrolling, user education, law enforcement and development. The team will implement existing OHV management plans, identify future needs, recommend actions to management and assist in future OHV planning efforts.
Utah
- Richfield Field Office of the BLM and the Fishlake National Forest, both in Richfield, UT share the following positions: Public Affairs; Safety Officer; Motorized Trails Coordinator; Tribal Liaison; and Range Conservationist.
- Richfield Interagency Fire organization established a Dispatch Center in 1972 that was funded by the Forest Service and BLM. The fire organization has been fully interagency since 1998. Efficiency analysis indicate a gross savings of approximately 41% annually.
Washington
- Headquarters for the Mt. Baker Ranger District (of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest) and North Cascades National Park Service Complex have been collocated in leased office space since the late 1980's in Sedro-Woolley, WA. The agencies share administrative space and jointly staff a visitor contact desk at headquarters, answer telephone and web inquiries, and collaborate on visitor service media, conservation education, and resource management issues for the North Cascades region. In addition, these two agencies have cooperatively staffed and jointly provided visitor services at Glacier Public Service Center in Glacier, WA during the summer seasons since 1993.
