Size and color: Dark purple with white margins
Pubescence: Glabrous (sometimes with a ciliate awn)


Color: Dark purple
Length: 4­5.3
Width: 1.7­2.5
Margins: Generally less than three-fourths the achene width
Pubescence: Glabrous
