The Wilderness Threats Matrix: A Framework for Assessing Impacts

Figure 13 - Research priorities for the impacts of each threat on each wilderness attribute, for wilderness in the Forest Service's Northern Region. Low-priority impacts had a significance rating of 2 or less, regardless of knowledge. Medium-priority impacts had a significance rating of at least 3 and a knowledge rating at least as high as its significance rating. High-priority impacts had a significance rating of at least 3 and a knowledge rating lower than the significance rating.
