Interior West Forest Inventory & Analysis

The Wasatch-Cache National Forest administers a total of 1,215,219 acres of land with 33,050 acres of this total extending into Wyoming. Twenty-six percent of the total area administered by the Wasatch-Cache National Forest is in a reserved designation such as Wilderness. There were 349 FIA sample locations within the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, of which 242 locations were classified as forested, 102 locations were classified as either nonforest or water, and 5 were inaccessible or missed samples.
