Interior West Forest Inventory & Analysis

This web page provides access to some of the IWFIA publications, summary tables, and other documentation that relate to Arizona's forest resources. Refer to Publications and Reports and Tables for posted reports, summaries, and reference documents. In 1985, an inventory was conducted on all non-reserved lands. From 1990-1991, an inventory was conducted on the Navajo Indian Reservation. From 1995-1999, inventories were conducted on all National Forests System lands, some Indian reservations, areas in reserved status, and all timberland regardless of owner. In 2001, implementation of the annual inventories commenced on all land ownerships.
