Revenue-sharing Databases

Tamarack Campground - Wallowa-Whitman National Forest

In the early 1990's, the RWU began maintaining a database of revenue-sharing payments to counties.  Electronic information is limited to PILT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) and Twenty-five Percent Fund payments.  PILT-related information includes payments and information needed to make calculations, along with a more detailed breakdown of prior year payments (by source of payment) and entitlement acres (by agency).  The PILT electronic database goes back to FY 1977 for state-level information, to FY 1988 for western county information, and to FY 1997 for all county-level information.  Twenty-five Percent Fund information includes payments by region, payments by county, revenue by type by region, and revenue by type by forest by region.  The Twenty-five Percent Fund electronic database goes back to FY 1988 and includes county and forest information for Regions 1-6 and 10.
