Who we are

The Wildfire Economics team brings expertise in economics, engineering, and forest and fire management to provide scientifically rigorous applied and theoretical research to improve the understanding and integration of social, economic, and ecological values into wildfire management, and more broadly resource planning and decision making. The fire economics research team is comprised of three primary research scientists and 8 other employees including post-docs, analysts and support staff.
