Botany
 |
Botany is a branch of biology dealing with the properties and life phenomena exhibited by a plant, plant type, or plant group. Some of the research being conducted by RMRS botanists includes invasive species research: fire effects, soil carbon manipulation and control of annual weeds, biology and control of cheatgrass; native species: commercial availability of native forb seeds, seed germination and sources. Other studies involve effect of fire on grassland vegetation and soil properties; fire regimes and restoration etc. |
