The purpose of the “fire and aquatic ecosystems reference list” is to aid managers and scientists in locating relevant science pertaining to the interactions of fire and riparian and aquatic processes, populations and habitats.  In addition to refereed journal articles, the list also contains many general technical reports (GTRs), unpublished reports, and grey literature. Although most of the references relate directly to aquatic ecosystems, some upland and general fire ecology references are also included when they provide information that may be relevant to stream and riparian environments or a bigger view of fire effects and issues.
