Does funding by other government agencies or tribes count toward matching funds?
Answer
Generally funding by other government agencies and tribes is not used to fund the implementation or monitoring of treatments on NFS lands and would not count toward matching funds. However, if any other government agencies or tribes provided funds or in-kind services to implement and/or monitor ecological restoration treatments on NFS lands within the landscape, they can be used as matching funds.
