The CFLRF can be used to pay up to 50 percent of the cost of carrying out and monitoring ecological treatments on NFS lands. What is included in the cost of carrying out and monitoring the treatments?
“Carrying out” is interpreted to be synonymous with implementing. Implementation costs include necessary work after NEPA. Costs may include, but are not limited to boundary location, tree designation, contract preparation, contract award, contract administration, force account work, data management, etc. Monitoring costs may include, but are not limited to sample design, data collection, data management, data analysis, and reports.
