Clark’s Nutcracker

Clark's nutcracker and grizzly bears are negatively impacted by white pine blister rust, which – in combination with mountain pine beetle – is decimating high elevation white pines.

The nutcracker is also important to survival of the pine, because it caches seed to eat later, and frequently fails to find them all.
