Summary

The Climate Change Resource Center (CCRC) website, which has provided practical, science-based information on managing ecosystems under climate change to USFS land managers in the western United States, has been expanded to encompass a broader geography. Information from the Northern and Southern Research Stations was added by NRS scientist Christopher Swanston, the Northern Institute of Applied Carbon Science, and the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center. The CCRS website now includes summaries of climate change research being conducted at both eastern stations, new tools for land managers relevant to the eastern states, and eastern case studies on national forest responses to climate change. The CCRC continues to augment its offerings for all practitioners interested in ecosystem adaptation and climate change mitigation.
