NNIS Templates

These templates are intended to create quality materials to increase awareness and protection. Please use and modify to fit your local needs.

To create a field guide, brochure, or sign, follow these steps:

  1. Purchase 8.5 x 11 inch weatherproof paper for field guides or signs, white card stock for field guides or white paper for brochure.
  2. Download the template (field guide, brochure/pamphlet, sign) you wish to use from the lists below. Also download the template instructions. You can modify an existing template or create your own using a blank template.
  3. Have the following information ready for each template (see details).
    • Photos / descriptions
    • Message
    • Contact Information
  4. Edit your template and preview. If you are satisfied, print on a color printer or deliver to a local printer or business for copies.

    • Please dispose of bait properly, avoid discarding minnows, earthworms, and crayfish to limit the spread of non-native invasive species, which displace native species and their habitat. Check boats, motors, trailers and vehicles.
    • Create your own message (35 word maximum)
