Urban Connections

The largest city in Wisconsin, and one of the 50 largest in the country, Milwaukee started as the home base for the American Fur Company before combinging with several other towns and villages to form the city of Milwaukee in the early 1800's. This former home of General Douglas MacArthur is one of the largest Great Lakes ports.

Working with programs such as Urban Treehouse and America's Outdoors, the city of Milwaukee has the opportunity to learn about natural resources and greening their city up.
