Deputy District Ranger Martie Schramm signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Sprinkler Project. The project proposes to imporve forest health and vigor by salvaging and naturally regnerating high risk mature and overmature aspen, paper birch, and mixed balsam fir-aspen-paper birch stands. The project area is located in Mackinac and Chippewa Counties.
