Deputy District Ranger Jim Ozenberger signed the Decision Notice (DN) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Plantation Road Reconstruction and Relocation Project. The selected alternative is Alternative 1 (Proposed Action). The Hiawatha National Forest adopted the EA from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This proposed project is located in Bay Mills and Superior townships in Chippewa County (T47N, R2W, section 31 and T47N, R3W, section 36).
